Renew your Dues Online!

When are invoices mailed?
Invoices are mailed on November 1st.
How often am I billed for my dues?
Dues are billed annually for the subsequent year. However, second notices and reminders are sent following the initial billing.
When is payment due?
Payment must be received by December 31st. The easiest, quickest, and most secure way to pay your dues is to
Pay Online.
What happens if my payment is not received by December 31st?
Payments received after December 31st will incur a $50.00 late fee and a $75.00 Reinstatement Fee if received after
February 1st.
Will CAR automatically deduct payment from my account or credit card?
No, you must submit your payment to CAR. We do not keep credit card or account numbers on file.
How do I make my payment?
Return envelopes are enclosed with the billing. Payment mailed in this envelope will be sent directly to our bank's processing center in Baltimore, MD. Payment may also be made at the CAR office or Online. CAR does not accept payment over the phone.
Will you accept a postdated check?
CAR does not accept postdated checks, nor will CAR hold your payment until you have funds available. Postdated checks will be returned.
What credit cards do you accept?
CAR accepts VISA or MasterCard, only.
When I pay by credit card, I'm asked to provide the V-code. What is the V-code?
The V-code is an additional security feature instituted by the banks. It is a three-digit number located on the back of your card near the signature line.
Are dues refundable?
As stated on your invoice, dues and fees are non-refundable.
What is your mailing address?
Our mailing address is: CAR, 314 Franklin Ave, Suite 106, Berlin, MD 21811. Or, you may use the envelope enclosed with your invoice, which will send your payment directly to our bank.

What is RPAC? Is it voluntary?
Yes, RPAC is voluntary. RPAC stands for "REALTORS® Political Action Committee". RPAC contributions are given to candidates who support housing and real estate issues. RPAC strengthens the REALTORS® political advocacy programs through grassroots activities, and federal, state and local lobbying efforts. There's only one way to protect your investment in real estate - AND that's by investing in RPAC.
